Travel for Charity. Cruise for a Cause. As a friend, customer, or partner of McDCG, we invite you to book your non-airline travel here and support a great charity at the same time! Once you book through McDCG Travel, all travel booked here will support Habitat for Humanity. As you may know, McDCG donates 3% of all gross income (not profits, all incoming monies) to charities as part of our commitment to give back in thankfulness for our many blessings. We’ve partnered with GW Travel, a travel agency with a social conscience, to improve our donation rates. GW takes no profit for travel booking – it diverts any profit realized (from hotel, cruise, and car rental bookings) to a worthy cause instead.
GW Travel donates a portion of every trip booked through this site to McDCG’s 2010 selected charity, Habitat for Humanity (HfH), to help make a difference to folks who are hoping to move into safe, affordable housing. Mary heard about GW while on vacation, and she and GW’s president/CEO, Sean, started sharing ways that their companies can make a difference in the world – so, although McDCG is not morphing into a travel agency, we ARE partnering to support HfH, and also sharing great deals and special travel prices not available to the public! And yes, GW can work with corporate accounts, frequent stay / car rental numbers, etc. (Mary’s first question!)
